Mehso-so

My September #doublespin done. This was a bit odd and just odd lol. A mysterious family and lots of family drama. Nothing too sophisticated but it was a ride.

I found that I loved the creep factor mixed in with the romantic suspense that was taking place. Lucian was a character that I found to be charming and I liked him. If the story had not been a dual point of view, I can‘t say I would feel the same about him. I probably would have hated him, but knowing his inner feelings and thoughts helped me to understand his motivations. Full review at www.thegenreminx.com #bookreviewer #TheGenreMinxBookReviews

Steamy, contemporary, gothic romance with supernatural elements, between a nurse brought in on a secret assignment and a tortured billionaire hero with a really messed up family. While I really liked this book, the cover makes the hero look like a creeper (also he‘s blonde) but don‘t let that turn you off. #romantsy #audiowalk

ReviewsbytheMrs Good to know! I enjoy that author but I am a total book cover judger and I basically wrote of reading this book because of it 🙅🏻‍♀️ Happy to hear I was wrong so maybe I‘ll give it a try. 💜 6y
CoffeeK8 @ReviewsbytheMrs I almost did too, but they discussed it on the new Bookriot Romance podcast so I decided to give it a shot. 6y

#currentlyreading. It's kind of a slow and also I'm not a fan of the hero... or the heroine. I hope it picks up.
