I am in a moment of holding pattern. My father died last week and it was expected but still, of course, there are feelings to be felt. I return to my favourite series for comfort and safety. Very rarely have I felt so unmoored, the earth shifting beneath me. I am okay. Time will pass. My family surround me. Eventually, every little thing‘s gunna be alright... until then, I have Finnikin, Isaboe, Froi and Quintana to help soothe me.
