I loved the movie so I was happy when I found the manga.
Enjoyable steampunk.
Alita should be up there with the classics of Ghost in the Shell
Alita is fierce and adorable who puts her heart into everything

Speaking of Cinder, I watched the trailer of Alita: Battle Angel and it reminded me so much of Cinder and the Lunar Chronicles series. Has anyone read Alita the manga? Is it me or there are a lot of similarities in the stories?

I am in love with manga perfect editions / re-releases. Better quality print, larger pages, and summed up, not really more expensive than the normal volumes.
I always wanted to read Battle Angel Alita and I am really happy I finally stumbled upon this!

GrilledCheeseSamurai @DuckOfDoom it definitely threw me off at first, but grew on me quickly. It's odd...but I kinda like it. It gives it that manga/anime feel. Might be a little over the top - but I'm thinking it will match the heavy cgi/live action blend that they got going on. 6y

GrilledCheeseSamurai @TK421 the Deluxe editions are really great! Or at least Volume 1 is. V2 comes out in February and V3 comes out in March. Completing the series! This is one of the ones I never got around to reading back in the day so it's all brand new for me. 👍 6y
