Great poetry book for the classroom. Cool read for young kids who want to know more about poetry and be interactive with the book. Can be a bit hard to read for young elementary kids because of the shapes the words make, but overall would use this inside my classroom.

This book of poems has a lot of corky and fun poems, I think any child can enjoy. They are about fun things such as popsicles, daydreaming, and fish. I would use this book in my classroom because it has a lot of potential and can be used in transitions in the classroom. When having children put their things away, you could read a poem from this book and make sure they know they have to be done by the end of the poem.
I will use this in my classroom because it‘s unique in the way it‘s structured and expands the children‘s imaginations!
pick“A Poke in the I” was written by Paul B. Janeczko in 2001. This book was very interesting and I loved the way they organized the structure of their poems! I also really enjoyed the illustrations and the way the poem made me feel! I will definitely read this again!
This book would be great for younger children discovering poetry and specifically concrete poetry.
