pickA rich fantasy setting, a deaf girl with a giant moa, a tiny desert town where people are afraid of strangers, bullies with supernatural powers... there‘s all kinds of interesting things going on in this graphic novel adventure created by Nilah Magruder. This first volume leaves many questions unanswered, so I look forward to what‘s next. I may seek out her online web comic instead of waiting. #DiverseVoices

Great suggestion from @bookriot for the 2018 #readharder challenge. I've been enjoying graphic novels and comics lately and am glad I picked this one up.
pickSuch an interesting start. I originally himmed and hawed about getting this and am so glad that I did. There is so much world building and story telling in here. I cannot wait to see if there is another one (Dear Lord let there be more, my soul cannot take it if there is not). If you happen to find this, give it a whirl.
