In this graphic-novel prequel to the Dresden Files, animals at a Chicago zoo start going out of control and Harry is called in to investigate. It's a low pick for me – a good story but not nearly as satisfying as a Dresden Files novel.

comic books heavily influenced the type of books he would write. "Welcome to the Jungle" is the first graphic novel set in the world of the Dresden Files, and takes place directly before "Storm Front". We are introduced to Harry Dresden, Chicago's first, and only, wizard PI, as well as Lt. Murphy, Sgt. Carmichael & Bob. The sarcasm & wit is hilarious. This was my 1st graphic novel and the illustrations were stunning. Definitely a pick.

Dragonfairykats Ok, so the first word should be capitalized and Jim Butcher replaces "he" in the 1st sentence. I was counting letters... 5y

This...this scares me! 😳 September TBR. Most of these are ARCs and free copies, but I tried to put personal picks in, too. (Though those will be dropped first if necessary)

This graphic novel is definitely worth the short time it takes to read. Based on Jim Butcher‘s Dresden Files series, it is an exciting and suspenseful romp into the world of the supernatural.

I read another review that called this “Dresden Files light” and I fully concur!

This story was centered around the Chicago zoo and was really good! I'm hoping the library has more of these when I go tomorrow
