This was a so-so read for me. The pacing was ok, but there were some major annoyances, including the MC's tendency to be so vague about it all. Why did she not not leave a message on her husband's phone saying she had consulted an expert & that she could prove she didn't do certain things? Instead, she leaves a vague message that her husband promptly dismisses out of hand. It was all rather contrived & the ending went completely off the rails. 3⭐

OutsmartYourShelf The above is not a spoiler as it is made clear from the start that someone else is involved.

Copy Cat is a creepy, psychological thriller that will definitely make you think twice about social media, especially Facebook. It was an average read for me.

All the spousal bickering and disbelief was extremely irritating. And the whodunnit felt highly implausible. There were zero signs that your bestie was psychotic and abusing her children? It just seemed too extreme to be that well hidden. Then the whole thing wrapped up rather easily. The graphologist part was dumb & too easy too. But I did find out that I counted wrong and this was actually book 40! YAY for not dropping under my historic worst!

The idea of someone not only impersonating me online but posting images of me and my family is a legitimately terrifying thought! More than any imagined monster. Enjoying this one so far!

A Facebook profile that is all about you, but isn't yours. In a world where we are connected to technology, the idea that someone could take your life, twist it and disfigure it until the people closest to you doubt everything you say seems ludicrous. Copycat gives a truly creepy look into the mind of someone with infinite patience who does just that. It will certainly make me very careful about my privacy settings and who I let in my house...
