Bk10 of April is done, all 826pgs of it. The 2nd book in the Empire Saga, it continues to follow Mara, Ruling Lady Of The Acoma on Kelewan, the invaders from the Rift Saga. In this, Mara, firmly in place at the head of her family, buys some Midkemian slaves at auction & falls in love with their leader, Kevin. I‘m calling it for my #24B4Monday #readathon I‘m pretty happy with my time, especially since I spent most of today in the garden! I started and finished Daughter Of The Empire, a 528pg chunkster using both audio & print & I got 3/4 finished with its follow up, Servant Of The Empire using both forms as well. I actually read for more time last night but forgot to turn the timer back on🤦🏻‍♀️but I‘m still pleased with almost 30hrs.🎉

Sitting on my verandah, enjoying the evening breeze while reading a book & drinking a cup of tea is one of life‘s simple pleasures. Something I have neglected to do long enough.
