Book 70. (ebook) I'm usually someone who gives high ratings, looking at my Goodreads it seems I took a star off though. I honestly can't remember much about this book (I really need to catch up and stay on top of my reviews) I thought I liked it though, not as good as the first few books I read by her but not as as bad as the last two. I'll still keep reading her stuff though.

So I have to admit, when I received this book in the mail, my first thought when seeing the cover was that it was a NA romance. I started reading it last night without looking at the synopsis, and was shocked to discover it was actually YA! It is also quite AMAZING! I only planned to read a few pages, but wasn't able to put it down and read much longer than planned. I'm loving it so much! 🤓🖤📖

Can I be honest here? I love stories penned by Kylie Scott: the Stage Dive series and Dive Bar series were enjoyable reads. However, I'm really struggling with this one - most probably because it's YA and I'm not a fan of YAs. This is definitely a case of it's-me-it's-not-you. I bailed. 🙈 BUT, I'll gladly read Kylie's contemporary books. #itsmeitsnotyou #NotaFanOfYAs #romantsy #readerconfessions

TRUST by Kylie Scott is a contemporary YA romance that doesn't pull its punches. It's a fantastic story that promotes fat-positive representation, good consent practices and healthy relationships. It's unflinching choices over portrayals of sex and violence mean it's not going to be for everyone, but I loved it to pieces.
