Pickpick

MG Leonard is truly a great story-teller. I‘ve just finished book two out of three. This one did not disappoint. A tale of mystery, science and family and a huge array of characters along for the ride. A true master of words and only one book left to read, I‘ve just put a hold on it and the library. 🪲

LapReader Great graphics you arty farty lady. 3y

#MotivationalMonday
1. Whistle training with Lola...working on her recall as she has a mind of her own 🐶💕
2. Horror....I just want to read something light and fluffy before bed (big wimp)
3. Our Chemical Hearts - I‘d love to see how Grace was getting on in five years time.
Have a great week everyone 💕

Litsy, meet Beetle 🕷 My Nana always brought this game out after Christmas dinner. We still continue the tradition, even though she lives hours away and is no longer able to join us. It gets HEATED. Anyone else play this gem?

Kaye I‘ve never heard of this before. We used to do Bingo when all the family still lived here. We‘d buy a bunch of low cost items, plus some sort of gag gifts, wrap them all up and put them all on the table. Then we‘d play bingo. If you win, you either got to pick a prize from the table or steal someone else‘s prize, then they could pick another. No one was allowed to open anything til we ran out of gifts, them people could trade items if they wanted 6y
BookNAround This reminds me of the Cootie game we had when I was small. 6y
readinginthedark I‘ve never played this, but we always play board games at Christmas! @BookNAround I had Cootie, too! 6y

Seth chose these for today's prompt due to the starring role of #creepycrawlies. "Three rhinoceros beetles climbed onto him, linking their horns and serrated legs around him. Four stags ran up and grabbed onto his underbelly. Together as one they began to roll towards the stairs...gathering momentum and beetles as they went..." We enjoyed Beetle Boy and are looking forward to reading the sequel, Beetle Queen #hallowreads #raisingreaders
