Stanfa-Stanley writes of her year of doing things outside her comfort zone with humor and a conversational tone that makes her story accessible.

I often wonder what my life would look like if I did more things that scared me. This book is a reminder that sometimes, our biggest obstacle is ourselves.

Thanks to NetGalley for a review copy.

In Finding My Badass Self Sherry Stanfa-Stanley takes us along with her as she spends a year, 52 weeks, doing a new, boundary-pushing task each week. Stanfa-Stanley has a cheeky writing style, and is happy to turn that sarcasm on herself, all the while, gently admonishing the reader to come out of their own shells.

{Call the Ohio Forestry Service! We have a major bush fire down in the valley.} I spit my tea when I read that line!

This was one of those NetGalley books I received in exchange for a review and was easily one of the funnest, lightest books I've read in ages. WIN!
52 new experiences at age 52... Sherry tells her stories like she's talking to her girlfriends and I love that!
I did do a proper review on my blog but wanted to share that this title is out TODAY and is soooo worth grabbing!

I got approved for a bunch of new ARCs this week and I am super excited for the variety. One of the things that I'm trying to do is sample more and see what I really enjoy.
