Coming Darkness
Coming Darkness | Susan-Alia Terry
3 posts | 1 read
Between Heaven and Hell lie the Other-Kin. Archangel Lucifer lives a comfortable life of self-imposed exile with his vampire lover, Kai. When Archangel Michael disrupts their paradise with concerns of a plague among humans and the breaking of ancient Seals, Lucifer refuses to help and turns his back, as they once did to him. After he learns that Heaven is empty and their Father is missing, Lucifer is forced to seek answers. He encounters a race of Creator-Gods unhappy with his Father and the world He created. Their desire is to let Darkness swallow the earth - but first they must remove any who would stand in their way. They imprison Lucifer in Hell - a place he didn't believe existed. Finding his way out will mean pluming it's depths. With Lucifer absent, Kai is alone for the first time in centuries. He has to make his way in the community of Other-Kin that sees him as Lucifer's pet; not a Master and Warrior in his own right. But Lucifer's influence runs deeper than Kai suspected, and the fear that he is just Lucifer's pet soon becomes all too real.

IamIamIam @melyndarae YES, that's definitely a bonus!!! 6y
kgriffith I think we should have a hashtag for other social media for easy collection of posts to put up once we‘re back! #LaterLitsy maybe? 🤔 6y
kgriffith @melyndarae That, as well as our and our sysadmin‘s locations, were definitely factors in deciding the downtime. 😊 6y
melyndarae @kgriffith Oh nice lol. I wasn't sure where the admins were. 6y
Chelleo We need to come up with a hashtag befitting the impending withdrawal 6y
IamIamIam @kgriffith I like that idea!!! 6y
Chelleo @IamIamIam Pretty freakin perfect! 🤣😂🤪 6y
IamIamIam @Chelleo 😂😂😂😂 6y
kgriffith @IamIamIam I created that LibraryThing thread as a response to my own recognition that I‘ll want a Litsy stand-in during downtime 😋 It‘s not the same, but it‘s better than nothing? 🤣 https://www.librarything.com/topic/289278 6y
IamIamIam @kgriffith oh oh oh oh oh, I'm so so so sorry!!!!!! I thought that was from Library Thing, not you personally!!!!!! I'm sorry, that makes me look like a complete jerk. 😧😔😭 6y
kgriffith @IamIamIam ha, it‘s okay! We haven‘t determined a way to differentiate between “LibraryThing/Litsy admin Kirsten” and “LT-er/Litten Kirsten, so it‘s not like you would know 😊 6y
IamIamIam @kgriffith I blasted your link too and I also sent you virtual flowers! 🤗 6y
kgriffith @IamIamIam (though on LibraryThing you‘ll see the little “L” icon next to our names when we‘re being “official” — I disable it when I‘m posting just as me, like on my reading tracking thread: http://www.librarything.com/topic/282143 ) 6y
kgriffith @IamIamIam awwww you‘re the sweetest 😍 Let me tell you, I appreciate the love today! 6y
IamIamIam @kgriffith lol, maybe I need to get hip & happening on LibraryThing now too!!!! 🤣 6y
IamIamIam @kgriffith HAHAHA, I'm like a Sour Patch Kid... I'm a grumpy old bastard but usually I feel badly and then I'm back to normal! 6y
kgriffith @IamIamIam Come over to the cataloging side, we have cheese. 😏 6y
IamIamIam @kgriffith 😂😂😂😂😂 Ooooh, cheese!!!! 🧀 6y

*Warning/ Age Level Advisory: some scenes of graphic sexual nature

Terry‘s Coming Darkness is a story of loss, and change, of beginnings and endings. In a very Supernatural-esque way, God is gone from Heaven, and without his ordering guidance, things are beginning to unravel. This book seems the first in a series. Many story threads were opened, but none were really closed. Terry does a magnificent job with description.
