Bendis is really nailing the marginalized youth character in Miles Morales: his conflict of fighting his inner and his family demons and his need to be more than those who proceeded him. I had heard all the hype around Miles Morales and I have to say, it is warranted. I hope that his character is a mirror for kids today, I hope they see themselves, and I hope he inspires them to be more than a product of their environment.

I am really enjoying Miles Morales as Spider-Man and I was happy to see Ms. Marvel in here too. I may have to find volume 3 when I go to B&N on Wednesday.

Well, I had to read more about Miles Morales after the first volume left off on a cliff hanger. I loved this volume; although, I expect I would have understood a lot more if I had kept up with the recent Civil War event.

It was still really good, and I loved the story line with Miles's dad. I'll definitely keep my eye out for more Miles Morales to show up on #hoopla!
