As unhinged and violent and sweet and salacious as one might expect. Love any issue that provides evidence for Harley+Poison Ivy 'ship.
Sad to hear that my start at reading this series comes on the same day as the voice of Harley Quinn from the iconic Batman The Animated Series has passed away. 😔 RIP Arleen Sorkin. You remain an inspiration with one heck of a legacy.

Harley Quinn reminds me of Deadpool. She's mighty entertaining, but she's interesting WAY more often than she's admirable and I'd never, ever want to meet her. Like, at all.

This was my first proper comics outing with her, after years of hearing people gush, and I'd say it left me intrigued but not obsessed. I'll keep an eye out for more volumes to see if further exposure changes that. #caseyplusbooks

I enjoyed it for the most part. This was my first comic book ever and I found I would definitely prefer a regular book. I‘ll stick to movies when it comes to comic book characters.

A pick with the caveat that I like the idea of Harley's character more than anyone's execution of her. This book starts out with a ton of different artists giving their own spin on her and it was so cute and fun that it carried me through the rest of the book. There was a good bit of fun in here though, just tempered by things that annoy me.

Loved reading this! The New 52 Harley Quinn is silly and upbeat. Some dark humor but I mean it's Harley Quinn. Lots of fun misadventures I would recommend.

This comic series is a serious guilty pleasure of mine! This was published in 2014 and now there is a continuation that started up again in 2016! It is hilarious, light-hearted, full of woman power and the drawing IS FLAWLESS!
I would recommend this to anyone who just needs a light read in the form of comics, because this is truly fantastic, despite it not being your traditional sort of novel!

I laid down on the floor but forgot to bring my book with me. So I'm reading through some of the comic books I have on my tablet. I haven't read any of the New 52 so figured I'd give it a try. :-)

January has been filled with graphic novels and comics. I've read 27 books this month and all but 7 were graphic novels. This one started out slow, but once they found their groove , I really ended up looking it!

The New 52 has not steered me wrong so far, and while it has a few issues, I think this is a good Harley Quinn run. It's chaotic, it's fun and for once, Harley Quinn is not a bimbo. She's a smart, and a little psychotic, gal. Throw in some Coney Island craziness and Poison Ivy, and it was an entertaining read. I can't wait to get the next volumes.

So I'm going to passively do this #24in48 and see how I do! Starting off small with some #HarleyQuinn! It'll be interrupted with a movie out (seeing Split) as I always seem to plan stuff on these particular weekends! @24in48

I surprisingly do not get a lot of books for #Christmas; movies and Batman stuff, yes. But my brother, without me even hinting, got me the box set of Vol. 1 of The New 52 Harley Quinn run!! It's the one graphic novel that I've been wanting! It was definitely a Harley Quinn Christmas; got so many presents themed to her! 😃🎄👍

Harley is wild omg. Her friendship with Poison Ivy is adorable (does anyone know of any good Ivy comics?? Her abilities are the coolest) and her huge soft spot for animals is so cute 😭😭😭

Dorianna There's Poison Ivy: Cycle of Life and Death. The Gotham City Sirens series has Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn working together. 7y
queerbookreader @Dorianna Thank you!! I know about Gotham City Sirens but haven't found volume 1 yet at the library, so I'll keep looking 🌱 7y

I was not expecting much out of this because I'm not the biggest DC fan, but this was a highly entertain let trade! Lots of blood and gore and slapstick humor but it definitely fit. Worth the read!

It's meh. Like they were trying to be like Deadpool but fell short. The stories weren't that interesting...just boring, which isn't something I expected from Harley Quinn. The art and variant covers were pretty cool though.

In the midst of finals week, I decided to take a break and finally read some Harley Quinn! I enjoyed this one and the first issue was particularly entertaining. The plot is a bit bland but still enjoyable.
