Once in a while, it will be used as the backdrop for a film or TV series, including the 1972 film, Sleuth and TV's Doctor Who. Set in its own estate and gardens, its graceful appearance belies a sinister past, just as sinister as any episode from the Doctor! But perhaps more relevant is the fact that it was once the subject of the TV series Most Haunted.
