#FierceFeb #SheWorksHardForTheMoney 🥄I love to cook but I have never wanted to do it professionally (much as I love to read about women who do) because of how hard the work is. These five books are about women in the food industry who work hard for the money--from pastry chef, to farmer, to restauranteur, to apprentice chef, to a stint in culinary school. (The top two are still in my #TBR stacks & the bottom three I have read & enjoyed. )🥄📚👍

batsy Yes, it must be incredibly hard work. Great choices 🍽️ 6y

Johanna414 My husband cooked professionally for 10 years and it‘s such a stressful job! He was a sauté chef in a high end seafood restaurant and hearing about his nights at work gave me a lot of respect for anyone in food service! 6y
