Enjoyed the first half of this much more than the second half. I really didn't care for the last chapter, which pushed it to so-so instead of a pick. But it was great fun reading it while at The Open Book

A fairly humourous look at how the pursuing your dream can be both hard work and worthwhile.

My library book and my comfy blanket. A little reading before bedtime - the best way to end my day.

My rating would be higher except for the author's need to bash "corporate" stores in order to build up both new & used independent booksellers. I worked my way through college at a Waldenbooks in a small town. I didn't care for my customers any less because big business was signing my paycheck. But the stories about how naive they were when starting the store were funny & relatable. Their store sounds lovely and quirky.
