Seven-Mile Miracle
Seven-Mile Miracle: Journey into the Presence of God Through the Last Words of Jesus | Steven Furtick
4 posts | 2 read | 1 to read
His Final Words Are Your New Beginning Its Good Friday. The Son of God is giving up his life. What does he want to say to us in His final hours? What does He tell the people standing at the foot of the cross, to pass down to the ages? He speaks only seven short statements. Words of forgiveness, salvation, relationship, abandonment, distress, triumph, and reunion. Seven statements that mean everything. In Seven-Mile Miracle, Pastor Steven Furtick shows us how Jesuss last words offer mile markers for our journey in relationship with God. Its a lifelong journey and its not always easy. But Jesus is both our guide and our destination as we travel. Includes questions for reflection and a forty-day reading guide to Jesuss death and resurrection. A Proven Path for Spiritual Growth From time to time we all feel stuck in our relationship with God and frustrated by lifes setbacks. Jesus faced what could have been the ultimate defeat on the cross. Yet he emerged triumphant through his relationship with his heavenly Father. And he showed us the way so that we could do the same. In Seven-Mile Miracle, Steven Furtick explores how Jesuss seven last statements on the cross offer a proven spiritual growth path for us. You will experience the Easter message more personally than ever before as you engage the words of forgiveness, salvation, relationship, abandonment, distress, triumph, reunion. After all, we are not simply believerspeople who have put our faith in Jesus. We are not simply disciplespupils who learn from him. We are called to be followers of Christ. This is your opportunity to follow Jesus through his death, and move forward in his resurrection power, starting now.

This is already set up differently than his other books. I love Steven Furtick!!

Mimi28 He's attractive as well! I had to stop watching his show at 4:30am here cuz I would just giggle and not get the message. That's also why I had to stop watching sports also, lol. 2y
maximoffs @mimi28 😂😂😂 THIS IS THE BEST THING IVE EVER HEARD. 2y
Mimi28 lol yep! I can really only absorb the message of older " more seasoned " people. I really like Joel Osteen but even he is borderline for me, lol. I used to love watching sports but I was just picturing them naked, lol. Lust is not good. I'm a lot better now. I stopped watching a lot of stuff, which why I watch mostly cartoons probably ? 2y

MatchlessMarie It's a little creepy that their children's church makes coloring pages for the kids of him. 😳 2y
maximoffs @MatchlessMarie that is creepy! I didn't know that. 2y
MatchlessMarie @steverogers my friend Tim wrote about it a while back. https://timfall.wordpress.com/2014/02/24/steven-furtick-vision-more-important-th... I don't know his ministry well enough to have other beef with him though. He's had his wife preach before so that's a lot more inclusive than others in his circle. (edited) 2y
maximoffs @MatchlessMarie his sermons have really impacted me, so I feel like his theology is sound, I'd totally be interested in learning what their perspective on those sheets would be, just because I know how important hearing people's hearts are. That's really interesting though 2y
