Spent 6 hours this weekend finishing up this beauty. My total was about 19 hours. I‘ll have to do the stop watch thing next month. Great #Readathon idea @TheReadingMermaid

About to start a looong drive home. I‘m the passenger 👏👏👏 so I‘m hoping to make a dent in this hefty lovely. (I already hate putting it down🙂)

I was taken by surprise by how much I enjoyed this historical novel. It is long but I would have been ok with it being longer because I loved Quincy, the heroine. She is prickly, stubborn, and arrogant and I could not adore her more. She is given 12 unknown tasks she must complete by her late uncle in order to maintain control of her beloved business, The Q. To make matters worse her progress is determined by the lawyer she dislikes.
