I tried. I really tried, but this isn‘t paced fast enough for me and I‘m not sure when, if ever I‘ll be in the mood for PA stories again. This was my second attempt at it— so I think it‘s time to say, “Not for me” and DNF it.
FWIW, Gabra Zackman seems to be a perfect match for this POV1 story 🎧

Where Lo Pan is running his hand through a floating specter of Kim Cattrall‘s character feeling her soul and spirit. Well this book is Lo Pan and I‘m Kim Cattrall. Lol. The way the story is rooted in nature reminds me of The Overstory by Richard Powers. Thanks again!!

Spent some more time organizing my bookcase since for part of my vacation I want to fill in some holes in my library, mostly books that I lost for various reasons. I talked about my unfortunate habit of lending books to friends who lose them.
This book is one of my top 5 all time favorites. The copy on the right was the original binding I had which my friend lost and replaced with the middle trade PB version 🤨. The left is a beautiful Hardback.
