I first read about Helen Keller in a Scholastic Book (a book that was then read over and over) and was obsessed. Flash forward to just a few years ago when I toured her home in Alabama ... and got TO TOUCH THE FAMOUS WATER PUMP. She and her beloved teacher, Annie Sullivan, were truly #UnforgettableWomen. #Booktober

RealLifeReading Definitely unforgettable. I recently borrowed a great picture book about her and the kids really loved it especially as it featured a bit of Braille. 8y
Centique That's an awesome choice. Reading Helen's story as a child was so inspiring. 8y
