Don't Believe a Word: A Novel of Psychological Suspense | Patricia MacDonald
3 posts | 1 read
A daughter sets out to discover the truth about her mother s death in this absorbing novel of psychological suspense. Eden Radley had a strained relationship with her mother ever since Tara deserted the family nine years before to run off with her much younger lover. But when she s told that her mother has killed herself and her severely disabled young son, Eden s half-brother, Eden is ridden with guilt. For her mother had tried to get in touch with her on the night she died, and Eden had ignored her text. Was Tara calling for help? Heading to Cleveland, Ohio, for the funeral, Eden discovers there was so much she didn t know about her mother, nor about her enigmatic, troubled stepfather Flynn Darby. And the more she learns, the more convinced she becomes that Tara s death was no suicide. Could Flynn really be guilty of murder "

I don't believe this is accurate! 🤣😂🤣

julesG Only if you don't add anything to your TBR, which is certainly most unlikely. 7y
Purrfectpages How did you arrive at this number? Mine has to be ridiculous! 7y
jenniferw88 I used the total of my Kindle and Goodreads TBR books for the tbr pile and my Goodreads read shelf for the number of books last year... 7y

Reviewsbylola This could probably be true for me if I never bought another book ever again. 7y
Lwiesman Me too! Don't buy any more books!!! 7y
Megabooks My first thought was, is 2023 that close? Why aren't we reading books on Mars? 🤣🤣 7y
hike.read.repeat This is cool. Is there a calculator site for this? 7y
hike.read.repeat Nevermind, I googled it. If I read at the rate I read last year it will take me until 2022 to finish 385 books. But if I keep up my current pace, it'll only take me till July of 2019. 7y
jenniferw88 @hike.read.repeat sorry, only just seen your comments! 7y
Zelma As @julesG and @Reviewsbylola already pointed out, this calculator fails to take into account the biggest problem we Littens have: continually adding to our TBR! 7y
LauraBrook Fun! I just did this, and it'll take me 7 yrs 7 mo to read my 1900 books. 😳quicker than I thought, I was thinking at least 10 yrs! 7y
hike.read.repeat @jenniferw88 haha no prob. Should have googled first then asked if I couldn't find it. 😆 7y
