This is his quest, which leads him from London to France to #Brazil. There are people who care, certainly, and there are people who make use of him. It‘s a sad story and a worthy sequel to The Fifth Child.

I had read The Fifth Child for my book group, so decided to read the sequel Ben in the World for interest. The themes of loneliness, discrimination, poverty and homelessness are not jolly, but sadly do stand the test of time. This book is well worth a read.
