I got really hooked into these characters 3 books ago. That feeling has not diminished with book 4. I will continue reading these.

I was looking for something lighthearted last night and started this…Got to 18% and it was just not doing it for me.
This is a VERY old #NetGalley ARC 😅

The mage of mages and a queen's guard decide, after years of a secret relationship, to run away together and open a tea/book shop in a small town. So far so Legends&Latte + Bookshops&Bonedust.
The novel finds its feet around 40%, when secondary characters have been introduced and a quest seems to come up.
There is potential for a series and I'm looking forward to it.

Yet another fabulous Kim Stone book from Ms Marsons. I always think there‘s got to come a time when one book isn‘t as good as the previous one, but they‘re always better.
This one is particularly twisty-turny, in both the cases featured. The titular storyline concerns young girls competing in beauty pageants and, of course, anything to do with mothering brings up issues for Kim.
Published at the end of the month.

Oh I loved this so much. It was brilliant, funny and sweet. The romance is cute and the humour is so on point. I as a Bon Jovi fan, loved the references throughout the book. This does touch lightly on consent and I like how it got handled. Not between main characters. Speaking of them oh they're so much fun. Clara has her issues but she works her way through it. Henry is just adorable. The ending was utterly perfect. #Netgalley 5*
Dragon exterminator Robert, Princess Cerisse, and Prince Reginald find their worlds colliding when there‘s a new threat of magically bred dragons on the horizon.
I‘m so glad I read The Last Unicorn recently. Beagle has such a talent for lyrical writing that feels like a fairy tale. For all the briefness, we get character growth, adventure, fun side characters, a little romance, & a glimpse into a lush & fascinating world! 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
This novel is all about ambition and power – what would you do to get it and what would it cost you – were very central to the plot and character motivations.
Meilin leaves her family to join the army out ambition and a desire for autonomy. She wants to find a place for herself and not be defined by the men around her. A dangerous ambition as a competent woman in the realm of men upsets the social order.

This was a really interesting read. Its dramatic from the start and takes you on many twists and turns along the way. You just never know who is guilty of what. This is the first of this series I have read but there are two before which I now plan to read. The plot is clever and full of twists. I liked that it was difficult to figure everything out until the very end. The ending was so good. #Netgalley 4*
