"One person's 'disgraceful' is another person's 'HERO'". ~Teresa Yaw

This book was so inspiring and encouraging... I love the positivity and undying support Shane gets from his mother. It is truly uplifting.

This book was absolutely amazing! Hilarious, heartfelt, inspiring, and as self-loathing as always! Shane's masterpiece puts a comical spin on life's most valuable lessons. It hooked me from the beginning and I completed it all in one sitting! My expectations had been far exceeded! This is a read for all ages and is a perfect collection of coming-of-age tales that inspire all people- no matter who you are. This book will forever remain in my heart.

Beauty Queens | Libba Bray

So, I am currently reading Beauty Queens and I just want to note that I was unaware of the immense amount of political and ethical references within this book. I wanted to read this without looking at the review since I didn't want any spoilers. Now that I am reading it I am blown away by the satire yet depth of this book. I am merely at page 102 yet I am unable to put it down! An interesting read so far, although I am quite shocked.

The Shadow Throne | Jennifer A. Nielsen

What a perfect way to end such a magnificent series. It truly ascended amongst all the books I have read. There was the perfect ratio of action, romance, and humor. You will become immersed in Jaron's world of chaos and mischief. Imagine him as younger, mortal version of Loki.

This series astounded me and made every part of my heart ache at the same time. I love it and always will. Please consider reading this fabulous series!

The Runaway King | Jennifer A. Nielsen

Do you fancy pirates? Or perhaps comedy wrapped in adventure? Then this book is perfect for you!

It is brimming with adventure and set my adrenaline on fire! I devoured this book (and his successor The Shadow Throne) in only a few hours! A must read for all ages. Once again, it isn't suffocated by romance- it actually has the perfect pinch of it. I loved every page of this book and am infatuated with it. Definitely is one of my top reads!

The False Prince | Jennifer A. Nielsen
Pickpick

This book was nothing short of amazing. It tends to be neglected since it is placed in the middle-school aisle of the bookstore; however, isn't Harry Potter there as well?

It is truly a magnificent read for all ages. The characters are each so lovable in their own unique ways and the plot isn't drowning in romance like most YA. The plot twists also added a marvelous spin! I deeply recommend indulging in this series. You won't regret it!

Glass Sword | Victoria Aveyard
Bailedbailed

In summary: disappointing. The only reason I choked through it was for the characters. I can safely say that this book ruined the series. The heroine of the story drastically changed- was she even the same person?? And the plot was boring and repetitive. A waste of my time and money. Personally, I don't recommend it. It isn't worth the few pages that glimpse into the world of Maven again. I regret falling in love with Maven and Shade.

Red Queen | Victoria Aveyard
Panpan

Here is my opinion on the Red Queen... I enjoyed it. I loved the characters, the plot, the romance- it was amazing! The first book was absolutely phenomenal. But, then came along Glass Sword (the sequel). My perception of this series went from perfection to failure instantly. The characters changed drastically and the plot became very annoying. So if you want to read this series, then I recommend only the first book. Don't expect commitment.
