the tale about a girl who doesn't fit in (and doesn't even want to) is hilarious, charmingly witty and /real/. Props to the author on tackling deep issues without end up being preachy about it.

The best spooky book I've read this year. WYLDING HALL is about 70s Brit acid-folk band holed up in an old mansion to work on their second album, only to find out that the mansion is not quite what it seems. An atmospheric tale told in pitch perfect details & strong, distinguished characters' voices

One of the better-written dystopian novels that actually care enough to explain how/why the world population got wiped out. Joe Hill is a fantastic storyteller - the description is imaginatively rich and vivid, and he has gift to craft characters that you will root for.
