Mehso-so

Franz Ebenhofer is a hapless, clueless Oma's boy who insults all around him,and happens to be the village police officer. The type who goes for a drink after work and arrests guys who were drinking in the bar with him,the type who makes chauvinistic, racist, sexist comments without seeing it as problematic.Oh, there's the murder of the local school principal to solve.
The book captures the spirit of small town life in a German speaking country.

And Then There Were None | Agatha Christie

In the corner of a first-class smoking carriage,Mr Justice Hargreaves, lately retired from the bench, puffed at a cigar and ran an interested eye through the political news in The Times"

Der 13. Stuhl | Dave Shelton
Pickpick

Der 13 Stuhl

It's not often that I choose to read books in German, and even less so when they are originally published in English
However, this book came highly rated and recommended by my local bookstore here in Vienna,Austria, and I just had to have it
It was a super enjoyable read.I understand how some people might feel it to be a bit so-so if reading it in English, but to enjoy these fun stories in my foreign language, was an amazing feeling!
