The Vegetarian by Han Kang. At 186 pages, this is a quick read, albeit extremely emotional. It is compelling storytelling, that easily got under my skin. A few times, particularly during the last chapter, I had to put the book down to gather my feelings. More to come in a few days after I completely digest this story.

Forever late to the party, I finally read #harrypotter
It was a quick, enjoyable read. Perfect for tax season. I followed it with watching the movie for the first time. All of the millennials in my book club are thrilled for the possibility that I'll get some of their #potterhead references now. I will be added the rest of the series to the tbr pile.

This is a book I can't stop thinking about. Whether at work, driving, shopping or anywhere, I just want to be back home reading.

This book was on a list titled 'if you like Wes Anderson movies, you'll like these books'. I do & they were right. This is a fun, quirky read. I wasn't enthralled with the ending, but overall two thumbs up.

This book has been on my TBR pile for some time. Finally got the motivation to pull it to the top after the announcement of the new series. One third of the way in & so far I'm enjoying it.

Here's a stack of books I'm trying to tackle. The Stranger was short, enjoyable read. One down, six to go.
