This book was recommended to me by my ex-girlfriend to get me back into reading and I haven't looked back. Heartbreaking, funny and powerful. It's a lovely coming-of-age, teen romance that keeps you wanting more and begging the characters get their "happily ever after".

Bookladylinda I need to read this one soon!!! Welcome to Litsy!!! #LitsyWelcomeWagon 7y

The Graveyard Book | Neil Gaiman
Pickpick

Grave beginnings

The imagination and writing of Neil Gaiman is always something I've admired heavily about his work, whether that's his books or Doctor Who episodes, and this book is no exception. This book had a fairytale for adults kind of feel to it but with the lighthearted elegance of a fairytale for children. The sort of spooky story you would get read to you at bedtime by your parents.

Deadly addictive or drop dead boring?

Everything about this book kept me wanting to read on and not put it down. The characters are well fleshed out, the events are entertaining with the promise of more surprises around every corner of the page and the book is just wonderfully written. My personal highlight of this book is the dialogue between the two main characters as it is entertaining just reading them interact.
