This book surprised me! I expected a cute little story about a would-be fairy princess, but what I got was so much more. Brigit's story is intriguing and sad, and her complicated relationship with Adam is tender and sweet, but incredibly erotic without being erotica. I devoured this book in two days.

When I read the blurb, I was afraid it was going to be a cheap imitation of Madeline Sheehan's Undeniable... you know, young girl, much older biker guy...
I was so wrong! This is a story of how love- dysfunctional as it may seem- can become a lifeline in a total nightmare life. It's disturbing, it made me curse and throw my tablet down... but I could not stop reading!
