Pickpick

I found it just rummaging though a pile in Barnes & Noble. It was a struggle to ever put it down, I was pulled in as if by the wood itself. I love it and it is now on the list for one of my favorite books.

It's a good book. Fast paced, dark, and romantic. I love it, but at the same time I hate it. You led me on book!! I was good until right at the end and... I just do not like Sam with Jaxon, not one bit. I am so mad about it, but other than that awesome read.

I hate this book series. I picked it because I'm a heathen and thought it would be really neat to see a book based on my faith but as a teen romance. Awful. In particular the descriptions of the Norns as evil, and the description of Asgard were so very upsetting that I wanted to throw my phone across the room. Some of the ideas were intriguing but others were so insulting I couldn't bring myself to finish reading it.

Honestly this was the first vampire novel I ever read as teenager. I found it in a discount bin at my local CVS at 14 and asked my dad if he would get it for me. Unbeknownst to both of us it was erotica an opened my eyes to so many things. It quickly became my favorite book and an ex of mine "borrowed" broke up with me and never gave it back. I still love this book to this day. Lovely is my favorite character. I highly recommend this book.
