It probably had something to do with the alien probing subplot but this was my favorite of the series so far.

I laughed a lot in this one. I feel like it was the best book in the series so far.

IQ is so much fun. A cross between Sherlock Holmes and Repairman Jack but set in the squalor of a drug addled poverty stricken Long Beach neighborhood. Loved all the characters and can‘t wait to read the next one.

For me this was not nearly as good as the first one. I had a hard time getting into the story. I was really disappointed because I loved the first book a lot.

I have been meaning to read this book for a long time. I think I would have really loved this as a kid. I loved the show and loved history. As an adult I enjoyed it and appreciated the nostalgia.

I like this series a lot. The language is not always historically accurate but I am okay with it. It was a fast fun popcorn read. I will continue to read this series.

Not my favorite by Burke but still good and a good Burke is better than most people‘s best.
