This book was an inspiring story of love and ambition, with some interesting characters and lovely writing. Although I had trouble caring about some of the characters' storylines, they were all inportant in some way to the overall plot. It was easily engrossing and beautifully written, but it is not without its flaws. 🌟🌟🌟🌟⭐

*Review based on egalley from Edelweiss* This was a fast-paced, fun read full of suspense, action and intrigue! At first it seems like a zombie apocalypse novel, but it is so much more. With some great characters, an interesting narrator, and a storyline full of twists and jumps as well as some strong emotional moments, this book was hard to put down and I cannot wait to read the next one.

Disruption was a surprisingly interesting read that pulled me quickly into the dystopian story about a world where people are defined by their pheromones. Fast paced and full of excellent dialogue, this story is brought to life by its intriguing characters and gripping storyline. It isn't perfect, though, but I couldn't put it down and for that, I enjoyed it greatly.

This was a surprisingly great retelling of Shakespeare's R&J, filled with twisted magic and the living dead. I loved the change in perspective of the story, the twists to the original, and the growth of the characters that had me loving them unexpectedly. This is one story that will stay with you for some time after you have finished. Happy Book Birthday!

When I first discovered this, I was immediately intrigued & excited to read it, & it did not disappoint. Cluess's writing skills are excellent & her characters are exceptional in their depth & behaviors. The plot is thorough- full of intrigue, excitement, & action, as well as moments of discovery & understanding that keep the pace perfect. Full of originality, great characters, & an engaging plot, ASBAB is definitely the start of a magical series.
