Okay, it's not perfect... There are things I took issue with but on a whole, it was a beautiful book. Very well written for the age group it's aimed at.

I love Svetlana Alexievich's work. Always insightful and humbling. This really blew me away.

I was excited for this & whilst I enjoyed parts, I found it unsatisfying. Most of the characters were unlikeable but I'm okay with that.

This was such hard work! Really not my bag, it just didn't work. It was too airy-fairy & came across as pretentious. I would have given up if it wasn't for the fact it's for #bookclub and I hate being defeated by books 😂
