Under the Lights | Dahlia Adler

So excited to be kicking off my Beyond The Big 5 site in less than a month! Wanted to share the illustration my hugely talented friend (sarahastolat on Twitter/Insta) created for me. I wanted to feature some of my favourite indie YA publishers in both the UK and US, as well as including a bunch of different genres.

Most importantly, I wanted books I really loved - I‘ll be writing on the site in mid-Jan about why these 11 are so fabulous!

More of my Jan TBR! Scapegracers and Summer are ones I've been meaning to read and not got to yet, Mina is one I have on NetGalley and am super-excited for, Heartless Wood is a Jan release I can't wait for and I just read and loved Cute Mutants v1. #tbr #youngadult

Super excited for new releases Wench and Rise of the Red Hand, a book I haven‘t yet got to from an author I love (Holly Bourne) and a reread of an all-time favourite in preparation for interviewing Dahlia Adler about it. #tbr #youngadult

Well, they were supposed to create a distraction.
