A local convent liquidated its library several years ago. The Spanish professor at the community college at which I taught took most of their foreign-language library. He kept most of the books in Spanish, but no one seemed to want the books in French. Except for me, that is. I came away with a sizable French library. I guess it‘s time to start enjoying it.
