Thanks to my brother I love watching bad movies and The Room is considered the citizen Kane of bad movies. The Disaster Artist gives insight into how it came to be produced and also who Tommy Wiseau is. After reading this I kinda have mixed emotions towards Tommy - on the one hand he's a bit of a bully but then on the other there is a naivety and innocence that you can't help be sympathetic towards. A must read for The Room fans!

So I enjoyed the first half of the book but got irritated by the later half. It has some interesting ideas around religion and psychology but overall it just didn't feel like it delivered what it promised.

Another day, another book. I have a weird fascination with North Korea and so have read a lot of books about the hermit kingdom - mainly autobiographies of people who have escaped the regime. This one is by a tourist who went to Pyongyang to run the marathon so will be interesting to see how his experience differs from the other books I've read!

So this wasn't a bad book - I actually really liked the main characters, dunk and egg, and the stories themselves were good- but for some reason I just couldn't get into it like I could with the rest of the game of thrones series. I would like to read more stories with dunk and egg in but may not come back to this book again soon...

Next bus read! Absolutely gutted that game of thrones isn't back until 2019 so hopefully this sequel will help fill that void #got

Well this book turned out to be completely different than what I thought it would be like! Incredibly thought provoking and was interesting to see how two completely different characters existing in different times and places managed to have their stories intertwined.

Time to read an old favourite - been far too long since I've read this series (And yes that is a Harry Potter blanket!)

So from the blurb I honestly couldn't tell you what this book is going to be about. I've read one page so far and it kinda feels like I'm having a conversation with myself - starting in the middle of the conservation rather than the beginning and just saying what comes to mind first! Going to be a good read I think.

Did not disappoint! Absolutely loved the second book of this series - story really progressed and had some quite interesting surprises! Can't wait til January when the final book is out! (Sorry for the poor picture quality - taking a picture on the bus is actually quite hard)

Absolutely loved this book - was hard to put down (even when it made me cry in public!). Really felt a connection with the characters and an understanding of their thoughts and feelings as they're trying to find themselves. Highly recommended!

Been reading a lot of non fiction recently so looking forward to getting into a good novel! Not heard of the author before but book sounds really interesting - exploring identity, art, love, families to name a few things the book's about #busreads
