RF book about a young girl who never makes mistakes. She is constantly worried about messing up. One day she finds out what it is like to make a mistake. I would use this as a RA to encourage students to not be afraid to try. It would help improve classroom culture. They could write about a time when they made a mistake. #UCFSU19

Alexis-Thompson Mystery is always an interesting genre because it forces us to think outside the box. Giving this opportunity to students at a young age helps them become open minded in more than one content area! Doing this in a book club allows students to share there different perspectives and what ifs. 5y

This modern fantasy book is about Fly guy and his relationship with his family. This serves as a reminder that all families are unique and it is ok to miss them. Ivanita08 I heard great comments about this book. I saw this book for the first time last semester during a Literature Circle assignment, and I really wanted to read it but as always I couldn‘t find time to do it (need to work on time management). I‘m planning to read it during the summer once classes are over. Great choice Tracy!! 5y

Kayladvazquez This sounds like a cute book. I agree this should be read independently because of what interest some children might not interest others. I feel this would be a good book to introduce to students if you feel a child is stuck in their writing or does not feel comfortable with their writing. I think it will help and give students ideas on what to write. 5y
