2/5⭐️ Disappointing! Neither of the main characters were very likable, and they seemed to be a poor match for each other. I was so excited to find out another Bridgerton book was in the works, but this didn't come close to measuring up to the original series. I hope the next one is much better.

3/5⭐️ These little piggies have enough sass and sweet ninja moves to send the wolf running wee wee wee all the way home! A cute and humorous twist on the three little pigs tale.

3/5⭐️ I would gladly listen to Nick Offerman read a cataloging guide out loud. The audiobook of Gumption was much better than that! While several of the people profiled weren't of much interest to me (I'm not into woodworking), I agreed with many of his choices and really enjoyed the book.

4/5⭐️ For once I didn't read spoilers, blurbs, or others' reviews ahead, so I went into this one completely blind. I struggled a bit keeping track of events and the timeline, but it was a solid 3⭐️ teen realistic fic read + a bonus ⭐️ for a twist towards the end that I honestly didn't see coming!

3/5⭐️ A belated holiday read while curled up with Lucy, my own funny valentine! This sweet Valentine's Day story is about gifts and friends coming in many different forms, and about not jumping to conclusions too quickly. Cute illustrations. Don't let the # of pages fool you - it's a quick read.

4/5 ⭐️ I fought with this one throughout every chapter, desperately attempting to understand and identity with the characters and trying to figure out where the story was going and how it would end. The last chapter gave me an unexpected peace though. I'm glad I read it. It lives up to it's praise!

5/5 ⭐️ So delicious I didn't want it to end! Val is a wild and wicked hero with a tragic past, and Bridget is the perfect heroine to keep up with him. 10 books into the Maiden Lane series and Elizabeth Hoyt is still delivering fresh and intriguing stories. I'll be counting down the days until #11!

2/5 ⭐️. Overall a disappointing read. One of my favorite romance themes (unexpected pregnancy/surprise baby) was drowned out by the dull characters and plot. I was in the mood for something light and fluffy, but this one contained no meat at all (I swear that wasn't intended to be a pun!😂)
