I decided to read this book despite the fact that I had seen the movie already. And I must say, I actually appreciate the movie so much more now because they stayed very true to the book which is refreshing. If you‘re like me and seen the movie but haven‘t read the book, it‘s worth the quick read.

First review in a while!
This book was excellent until the end, I found the ending anticlimactic but still good. Did anyone else find the secret code on the inside of the book cover? 😉

So I just finished reading this book. Needless to say, it does not fit my normal genre of book...however, I found it witty, interesting, a tad repetitive at times to say the least but also surprisingly inspiring. Julie is raw which can be hard to find in some memoirs which tend to gloss over more of the rough times in their lives. I would recommend this read to anyone who wants a little laughter, honesty, and even a little excitement in their life

Captures your attention in the first couple of pages! Another good book for die hard movie fans to pick up or any true crime readers as well! ❤

Has anyone read this book? I love Brad Meltzers shows on History channel and love books similar to his (Dan Brown for example) but I got side tracked with a different book while reading this one. Does anyone have any thoughts on this book before I pick it up again?

Way better than the movie. If you are ever interested in "true crime" and perhaps a comedy combo, then this is the book to read. Extremely engaging. If you are a fan of the movie, this book has all the things that drew you to the movie and more.

BookishMarginalia Welcome to Litsy! It's a great place to be! 7y
Shyanna Thanks @BookishMarginalia ? I'm still trying to figure this all out lol maybe you can help? First off is there a way to message people or is it just comments? Secondly, how do I add books to my "read" list? 7y
BookishMarginalia @Shyanna There's no private messaging; it's all through comments and tags. You can add books (read, reading, or to read) by clicking on the book icon next to the comment icon, whether from posts or from the book's own page. (edited) 7y
Shyanna Ok thanks! That makes so much more sense! @BookishMarginalia 😊 thank you for clarifying. Everyone is so friendly and kind❤ 7y
