Home Before Dark | Riley Sager, Todd Ritter

It's here! It's here! My first Book of the Month. This one by Riley Sager is about a woman that inherits her creepy childhood home, only to find out its haunted by more than just memories. I loved Lock Every Door and The Last Time I Lied also by Sager so I have high expectations for this one. I'm sure it won't disappoint.

Supporting another great Minnesota author. I am excited to start this series by Gerry Schmitt (aka Laura Childs) This one looks like its going to be pretty dark.

I just finished the first book and I am so excited to read the rest of the series. It involves all the things I love; duel mysteries, old manors, procedural facts and a cliff hanger. I love finding a new series!

Loved this one. Super dark and twisty. I love books that capture how messy it is to be a teenage girl. I am putting this in my top 5 favorite books I've read so far in 2020.

Pickpick

I love books that show the complicated messy dynamics between teenage girls. Lauren Oliver tells a story about the intense need to be part of something while also feeling jealousy, loneliness, and obsession.
