I couldn‘t decide if I liked this or just thought it so-so. There were a few interesting plot twists but some of it was a bit of a stretch for me. And the main antagonist, Edward, was too unlikable. I was actually glad to finish the book and it didn‘t leave me with any special feeling one way or another. It‘s a relatively quick read.

I wanted to like this book. Enjoyed Woman in Cabin 10. But I could never get into this story. I didn't like any of the characters and the plot never grabbed my interest. Half way into the book and there was still no real mystery. So I read a recap and bailed.

The Breakdown | B A Paris

Wow! BA Paris is my new favorite psychological thriller author. I couldn't put this down, which is why I'm writing this review at 1:30 am! She has an amazing way of telling a story and making you feel like you are right there in the middle of it all. And even after you think you know who done it, you are still on the edge of your seat. Not as disturbing as Behind Closed Doors, but just as good.

Jess7 I wish you had a picture with this review bc the cover on this one is so pretty! I'm looking forward to getting it from the library eventually and reading it! 7y

I could not put this book down, even though one of the main characters was creepily disturbing. This was a surprise thumbs up book.

I'd never read this and with all the hype from the show , I thought I'd give it a try. Really liked it -- couldn't put it down. With today's political atmosphere, it kind of gave me the creeps. A bit too real. The ending didn't quite do it for me but I'd still give it an Pick.

What She Knew: A Novel | Gilly Macmillan

A good page turner. Kept me guessing throughout. Good character development on Rachel. Not so much on the rest of the characters. In the same vein as the Good Girl and Girl on a Train.

Read this in one day. Couldn't read it fast enough to find out how it ends. And what an ending. Definitely a surprise.

I enjoyed the first half but then I lost interested. Too many changes in POV made it somewhat confusing and affected the flow. Ended up skipping to the end which was also disappointing.

I enjoyed this book but I wasn't overwhelmed by it. I felt some of the dialogue was contrived and that the ending was a bit over the top. However, it did keep my interest and was a fast read for a weekend filler.
