Made it through step two of my LOTR journey. Really diving into the books really does make me have a even bigger love for the franchise that the movies introduced me to

I have been a fan of LOTR since I was a kid and was introduced to the movies. Over the years, I've gotten into watching Lore videos on YouTube as just a way to learn new things about the world that was not in the movies, and I decided to finally read the books for myself.
For me, The Fellowship of the Ring shed a new light on the Frodo adventure, and I really enjoyed diving into the world from the source.
The second book I'm reading at the moment, and as an African American from the south, I honestly am loving just how, for lack of a better term, “unapologetically black“ the book is. And the dialogue in the book feels like things I would say to my friends, so I'm loving it.
One of the 2 books I'm reading at the moment, and I'm not really a Tarot person at al,l but im loving the world this book has and how the cards play a huge role in everything

I love reading these classic crime stories and this was a solid one. I listed to the audiobook and it was a well do “who done it“
I have to say, this book was extremely underwhelming and it really dragged. I wanted to enjoy it and small parts of it i did but for the most part, this book is a waste of time.
The book wasnt terrible but also wasnt great. It had its moments but the pacing was off during certain parts of it as well.

Since diving back into reading this year, Ive really discovered some classic fantasy books This one was pretty interesting and fun to read or well listen to.

Outside of the comics, and the few random Norse docs I watch on Youtube I dont know a lot of Thor or Loki stories so I really enjoyed listening to this because it gave you a good look on how the two interact with each other.

First time ever reading a Hardy Boys book, but I enjoyed it. I enjoy a good who done it style of book and this one was fun and even tho it is a bit outdated it was still enjoyable.

I love folklore and fairy tales so I really enjoyed discovering this one and, i really enjoyed it. Its short but I thought it had some interesting characters and I like that it also had some similarities to Cinderella as well. I did listen to the audiobook so it was a pretty easy listen. #folklore #fairytales

I am really enjoying discovering these classic books and Authors that I had no idea about. This was a fun collection to listen to and the stories were captivating.

Certainly a book that can be triggering for some. It touches on some intense subjects but overrall its was a solid story and while hard to listen to at some points it was still good.

Since I've dived back into reading full force, I'm starting to read more classic books and novels and while this one was a bit hard to follow sometimes, I did love the classic Goth style of it and I really enjoyed the setting.

I was recommended this book and if im being honest, it really was not worth the read. The book is basic writing at best and it really has no substance.

Just Finished this book and I have to say I really enjoyed it. It had some really good mystery as well as some good twist and turns, I would recommend it.

While some of the stories were a bit cheesy overall, I really enjoyed them stories and they were interesting enough that they kept me hooked.
I mainly know Father Brown from the PBS show. But this was a good story even if it was a bit hard to follow at times mainly when it came to keeping up with all the clues.
This was a solid story and was easy to listen to. The characters were also interesting especially the witches.
This was my first time reading a Lincoln Rhymes book, my only knowledge of the character had been from the bone collector tv show a few years ago. I picked this book up for $1 and I'm glad I did. It was really well written and I enjoyed the twists especially near the end. Would certainly recommend it.

I've been trying to finish this book for about a year and I finally took it off hold and jumped back in and finished it. Didn't love it but also didn't hate it and am looking forward to seeing where the series goes from here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsMCIwALu0s

The book had a good plot and while it wasnt terrible, the book tried to do to many things and add to many twist and it kinda made the book hard to follow after a while. but if you like a decent thriller I say give it a read.
So I decided to try my hand at writing a short story. I did get a bit of help from AI but I think it turned out decent!

I really enjoyed this book a lot more than I expected, the characters were really well written and the story had enough twists to keep you hanging on to each chapter.
Finally finished the book and I have to say I didn't see the ending coming. When I knew this book was about someone coming back I wasn't sure of the direction but there were certainly some unexpected twist that I didn't see coming but I loved the book for sure.
7 chapters in and im loving the book so far. I feel like I know what direction its going but I also feel like big twist are coming
Currently reading this, and it's a pretty solid young adult book so far. It gives me shadow hunter vibes which isn't a bad thing.
Just got done listening to the short story Blood daughter from this collection and it was solid but I have heard better stories with the same creepy plot line.
Finally getting back to my audio book list on Chirp and this one has been good so far!
