Such a great book about growing and changing -- figuring out who you are in relation to who you used to be. I just had to literally wrestle it out of my 9-year-old's hands because it's way past her bed time. Every time the "good part" ended, a new one started. I read it in one sitting myself, but I'm not as much of a bear in the mornings!

So much more to the story than I thought. Enjoyed this novel in verse.

Adding to our curriculum this year, so I gotta read to help create the unit.... I've gotten lost in some of the background science. Bleh

President Garfield sounds like a @Litsy kind of guy!

"Let us never praise poverty...for a child at least." Thought of this quote when I read an article titled "When Teachers Romanticize their Students' Poverty."

My son has to read a book about a president for summer reading. We both thought this sounded interesting, so I'm reading it too.
