Now that 2017 has officially started I have decided to set a reading goal of 60 books in the 2017 year. If I meet this goal then great but if I don't, I don't think I will be too discouraged. This is my last semester in highschool, a lot will be going on. I think I get a free pass.

This book gave me an Eleanor and Park feeling at the end. You know, when a book ends leaving it up to the reader to decipher the characters emotions and what happens after the book ends. I'm trying to get adjusted to those types of books, not too fond of them at the moment. However, that doesn't change the fact that I'm in love with Solomon Reed.

This book was cute. Don't get me wrong. But for the first half of the book it just seemed to me like all the stars aligned and all Gods conspired to make the development of their relationship possible and it was fairly unreasonable.

But on the bright side, the second half was adorable. Stephanie Perkins's writing is adorable. Everything was adorable.

So this wasn't the best book but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. It was very cute but the ending was just too abrupt for me. Plus the cover is beautiful. I am currently reading another Emma Mills book "This Adventure Ends" (also a very pretty cover) and loving it.

So I just finished reading The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon a few hours ago and I loved it. Admittedly, it is not a practical story meaning it is unlikely that it could actually happen but I don't think that is what Nicola was trying to achieve. I think she wanted a swoon worthy book about falling in love and she got the job done.
