Pickpick

This book was recommended to me by my best friend over at @acouplereads who is in love with Laini Taylor's writing. I picked these editions up and immediately fell in love there is no other way to put it. Karou is simply and amazing character, a strong willed, strong minded female lead with a heart of gold and a wit as sharp as a finely honed blade. These books are a travel through a stupidly amazing world of magic and creation galore. 5/5 defo!

Mehso-so

I read this book after a recommendation from my friend @Livelaugh_read who said it was fab! It's such a brilliant and catastrophic love story but it just wasn't for me. Beware of some strong and quite controversial themes throughout the story, however a romp of a book and a complicated and tumultuous love story to rival many others. Occasionally steamy and super as a historical fiction just happened to fail to grab me, oh well. 3/5 from me.

Lord of Shadows | Cassandra Clare

Pickpick

Lord of Shadows was just like all of the other Cassie Clare books I have ever read, utterly mind blowing. I absolutely adored all of the characters and the new additions to the story, the action and the amazing love and family themes through the book. I have loved the shadowhunter world for an age and this was such an amazing treat. I am dying to read the next one and can't figure how I'm going to wait another year for the next. 5/5 for sure!
