I read this one fast haha. It's my first time reading a book of Gaiman's. I think he's good at making me feel what the main character is feeling and that hooked me to the story. I couldn't put it down until I knew what happened to the boy. That good.

I absolutely love this book. Even if I felt like it lacked action (wanted to see more wizard stuff) towards the end, it was still beautifully written that I didn't mind. I love how Ged's character grew throughout the story: the hard lesson he had to learn, how he changed, and how he strived for redemption. Definitely interested in reading the next books in this series.

In the beginning it was interesting to see all these different characters from different backgrounds and places, but eventually it lost the novelty and I got tired reading about all the others when I wanted to know what was happening with the MC. My problem was I also ended up not liking the MC enough to want to know more about how the rest of the book went. : \

The way the story was told was interesting (different POVs, news reports, etc.) so I could see the whole incident and Carrie herself in different angles. Sometimes tho I get lazy and impatient reading all those details and the other characters when all I wanted to know was Carrie's POV. Apart from that, this story reminds me of X-Men (with the bullying and her TK powers). The end was sad and kind of a bummer. I hoped it ended differently.
