This book would be good for 3rd graders and above. This would be a good book for when students are learning about the holocaust. It is a comic book so it could be great for younger kids but some of the images towards the end are gruesome so I would gear it towards older elementary kids for that reason.

This is a biography children's book. The text and illustrations are shown by a comic book style. The text and illustrations show consistency in the story because the story stays the same throughout the book through the pages. The book offers interest and meaning for childrens lives today because this was such a historical event. Its important children get the chance to be aware of what Anne Frank and others went through.

This book would be better for older elementary students. Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade would enjoy this book more. Its a longer book so it might be better for older kids to sit through. Also 3rd, 4th and 5th graders may have more interest in the history background of the story.

This is a biography book. Reading this book would help children learn past historical events. This book took place during the cultural revolution. This book gives a great background of what ji li jiang went through and what her hardships were which would help children learn about this time.

This is a historical fiction chapter book. This book was written about 1945 when world war II was happening. I think the story conveys the times and what happened during that day perfectly. It shows how people from different cultures are not treated right and how different genders are not treated right. This book defiantly gets the spirit across of the time period.

This is a historical fiction chapter book. This book reveals a sense of feeling without feeling artificial. The characters really come alive and help you learn about the events that have happened before. The character and setting are both portrayed very well and come alive through the pictures.

I would read this to 2nd and 3rd graders. It's a bigger book so I think it is geared towards older elementary kids. The pictures and words are great for 2nd and 3rd graders who want to read poetry books.
