December Reads ! In the End and The Revolution of Ivy are definable my favourites. Great sequels for anyone who likes the dystopian YA genre. Happy new year ! 🎉

Josie So cute! Love your handwriting! 7y
CameesBookishLife @Josie Thanks , I like to keep track of my monthly reads in a bullet journal 📓 (edited) 7y
Josie @CameesBookishLife I do the same thing! Well, my journal was just a notebook from Walmart, but it works! I love keeping track on paper! 7y

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another great sequel that I couldn't put down. Read this in less then 2 hours so it's kinda short much to my deception. These YA dystopian series need to be longer . The plot turned out great and I really glad of the outcome. If only it would continue. Definitely a book and plot that could've done great for adults as well if added a bit more content and explored the more mature themes it already had . 8/10 ⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loved this sequel! Same attaching characters with a couple of new ones. I would've loved for it to be longer though. I think the end was a bit rushed and it could have been more developed but I really enjoyed it anyways. Seriously if you're a YA dystopian fan , you need to reed this . 8/10 ⭐️

November reads time ! The Book of Ivy was definitely my favourite one of this month fallowed by In the After . Both futuristic dystopian YA types .I also continued the Rosemary Beach series by Abbi Glines that I like and finished Remembering Everly which is the sequel to Forgetting August. Great books this month ! 👌🏻📚❄️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I just loved this book. YA dystopian romance with a good mystery to it . The way Amy Engel wrote it is a real page turner. I've been waiting really impatiently for the sequel to be available at my library. The depth of the character development was great and and the author knew how to reveal just enough to keep us going . I would've loved if it had been longer though, put more to the story. 9/10 ⭐️👌🏻📚

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful YA book about a post-apocalyptic future that is full of mysteries. A story about surviving an invasion and what you have to do to get through it. I loved the characters in this and I was very intrigued all the way through the story . I couldn't put it down even though it's probably meant for a younger audience 📚 Can't wait for my library to purchase the sequel ! 8/10 ⭐️👌🏻

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not as good as the first one in the Woods/Della story buy I enjoyed it . I didn't expect a few turns in the story and I would've liked to feel a bit more the characters emotions in those situations. Looking forward to knowing what happens in the other books . 6/10 ⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I've liked the books in this series so far . But this one touched me a bit more because it approaches the subject of mental illness which I think is very important. I was also glad to know more about the characters that I've grown to love im the other books. 7/10 ⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Cute YA romance , good characters, good story. A bit cliché but I still liked the happy ending. I would've like a bit more depth to the characters and feel their emotions more. Plus being a a French Canadian , I spotted a few mistakes when using french, but It wasn't too bad. 7/10 ⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I liked the continuum of this series and the character placement for the spinoff but the story was getting redondant. Always the same drama coming and going but it had some nice scenes. Overall a good finish to Rush and Blaire's story. 6/10 ⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I disappointed with this one , not as good as the first, but still good . The writing and the characters haven't changed. I was expecting most of the plot and the book seemed short. But the story is not finished so let's see where this is going in the next one . 6/10 ⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I enjoyed this contemporary romance, a bit cliché but enough mystery to go past it. The characterization is good and filled with emotions. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series. I want to know where this is going since I was disappointed with the other book I read from this author. 6/10 ⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really liked this one and didn't expect the ending. Looking forward to reading the sequel when it becomes available in my library. Just the good amount of drama and romance. The characters were well developed but they could've transmitted a bit more emotion. 7/10 ⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I wasn't too sure where this was going and found in a but weird at first but it got better. Good Science-Fiction Romance for adults. Although I felt like it would need more character development to really connect with story. Some cliché forbidden love was thrown in there , but you know, sometimes you can like a bit of cliché. I got entertained for a few hours with this book. 5/10 ⭐️

Bostonmomx2 I personally think she's one of the most overrated authors ever. I think her Plum series is awful. Sorry you couldn't get thru it! 8y

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow , I don't have words for this book. I read that it was her most powerful, but I wasn't expecting this. This is beautiful, and I've read it in 3 hours. This is the kind of book that goes right to the heart and twists until you're not sure what to think anymore. Whirlwind of emotions, I love it. You don't know this is the book you need until you've read it. So go ahead and read it already. 9/10⭐️👌🏻😭❤️📖

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fun book to pass time . I just couldn't relate to the characters though, this is supposed to be a romance novel but the relationships were purely physical. I felt like the characters could've had more personality and the plot twist at the end didn't make much sense. 4/10 ⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I don't know why I was expecting more from this book , but well , I was. This is YA romance (I guess) about a girl that tries to help virgins through their first times but it goes wrong. She finds herself in the process and ends the story on a good note. I thought this was a bit too cliché for my taste. But go ahead , get entertained for a night or two ! 5/10 ⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Couldn't have asked better for the 5th book of The Selection Series. Although I figured out halfway through with whom she would end up , I wasn't expecting some turns. I thought the ending was a bit rushed, would've wanted to know more. Still think it should've had a bit more action in it, like in the first 3 novels, but I really got entertained my this story. Kiera Cass did a good job with this series . 7/10 ⭐️🙂
