How to Be an Antiracist | Ibram X. Kendi

Finishing up the book, and it‘s really good at explaining and differentiating different terms that we use/should use in our day to day conversations. It‘s made me more aware of my actions. Loving it so far!

Such a detailed book about the common lives during the 1918 pandemic. Arnold does a good job in describing the successes and struggles. The book sets a great context for the current pandemic. It‘s a “you should definitely read this soon” type book

Thinking, Fast and Slow | Daniel Kahneman

This was one of the best books on human behavior I‘ve read in a long time. Sometimes, it does feel like a textbook, but Kahneman makes the topics relevant and show how they apply to everyday life. I‘ll definitely use principles from this book to make smarter choices

Incredible! Everyone, whether or not they‘re in traditional sales, should consider reading this book. I learned a lot I can apply to my daily life, not just at my job at Gap. I‘d recommend this for anyone who wants to see selling from a different perspective

I‘m 18 and I wanted to get into investing, so I picked up this book. It‘s a great book with a lot of practical, detailed advice on how to make money over the long run with investments. Even if you‘re not big on economics, it‘s great insight to have

FormalFitGuy My client gave me this book at 27 when I first wanted to decide to invest. It has been revised a few times since but is a great starting point 4y

Deena shows us not only her experiences with running, but experiences that every runner has at one point encountered. Her writing gave me both inspirational and something to think about during longer runs

Fahrenheit 451 | Ray D Bradbury

I read the book in a week and was really glad with the multiple views you could take. Sure, there‘s a clear meaning to it, but it allows you to have good discussions with friends since there‘s room for interpretation.
Side note: Bradbury‘s observations are also pretty relevant today

ElizaMarie I loved this book! I had read it late in the game (like most people I know read it as a teen) but I was so glad to pick this one up! 4y
CRamirez312 @ElizaMarie I also read it late compared to my friends, but I‘m happy I at least read it 4y

The book makes the Syrian Civil War and the deaths and displacements within it much more personal. Also a timely book since the NYT posted a piece on Syria in August of 2019

A wonderful read about Stedman and how he turned discrimination into conversation and into friendships. He‘s humble and has a great sense of humor too!
